My lips are peeling from dehydration i think.. and even though i try as much as i can to bundle myself in shade n stay in it, it still feels like i've been transpiring unwittingly.. wads gg on man..
anyway my new craze is Jap anime :) heehee.. really like it a lot! good way to improve my jap huh! could understand a bit here n there i guess, though with the help of subtitles.. i've been spendin my time watching some jap/korean dramas too, sth i didn't quite fancy in the past. gee..seriously, the last drama i watched in JC was one litre of tears..reminds me of kayaking days! what a random thought.. but.. i've decided that this post shall be a random one, dun really feel like writing bout everything i did cuz... there's totally too much to write about!! i think i've not updated for almost a month alr...
hmm tis month i visited zhonghua.. i somehow got shot back to the days when i was 14 or so.. back to the time when avril lavigne's 'Complicated" and Evanescence's 'Bring Me To Life' was still on radio.. at that time I and prob many of the pp ard me, were pretty convinced that we could not wait to finish our O's and graduate.. and that we were gettin tired of the life then. But thinkin back, the four years were really fulfilling.. i like the teachers n friends there, as they made up such a great school i will rmb deep inside my heart..

yesterday i was at the restaurant, and while serving this customerat the tepanyaki counter.. i got asked to be the chef..haha. the customer, this Indian man in his forties, started a conversation with me. i think he was talkin bout being adventurous in life.. and out of randomness, he said i was to cook the next dish which was garlic n egg fried rice. n he was serious bout it.. so i had to step in.. felt awkward! but the chef who was my 'lao gong' in the restaurant helped me along the way.. haha.. my first time being a tepanyaki chef! it was interesting.. the end-product, well, was not too bad... though a bit bland.. then he tipped me for a job well done.. my first tip. usu the tips go to the restaurant de.. unless the customer gives it to u, individually.. have been working there for bout 2 months.. i think i've met really nice customers, and have also been keeping in touch with some jap customers whom i got to know.. also i got to relate with some of my parents' clients during their stay in singapore.. i really learnt a lot from them, coz i try to speak a little jap if i can..n they're super helpful. yups..
today: met up with my loooonnng lost pri sch friend! she was my best from from pri 1 to 3.. but after that we sorta lost contact, n she moved n we didnt have handphones then.. =Z but somehow she saw me on the train, and managed to find me thru friendster.. man it's been almost 10 years of separation... until recently.. i think it's fate. though it's true that sg is small, i still find how someone's path crosses another's, pretty amazing.. after all it's fate that brings ppl tgt.. anw we spent the whole afternoon catching up on so many things.. but not everything.haha, we used to kope stamps from our parents and mail letters to each other's home. well it was the trend then, wasnt it.. haha and that was how i cld memorize her old house's full address incl. postal code.. until now! i think it's gotta be stuck in my brain forever:) we're gonna meet up for shopping soon! it feels really good to meet up with old friends.. really... like a homely feeling. and sometimes it makes me feel that the real me resides in the past.. it's a rather disconcerting feeling though.. hmm all i can say is that things have changed imperceptibly. but they are not better or worse, just different. am i making much sense?
guess it's late.. there's guitar tmr aftn and my cousin's wedding dinner at nite..*beams!*
but clem's nt booking out this weekend.. sigh. :(
